another thing:
the other father says “i don’t play the piano, the piano plays me” (or something along those lines)
which hints at the fact that the other mother is controlling his actions and there’s nothing he can do.

Another fact: Where the other father said, " I don't play the piano. The piano plays me." This means that The other father is under control of the other Mother which he reveals when Coraline is in the garden trying to find the eyes of the ghost children.

The ketchup stain on Coraline's dad's shirt is actually tomato sauce from a deleted scene in the film where they go out for pizza after Coraline's parent's return home

so let me explain for the penywise and other mother theorie. so not many people know this but penywise is not a clown he is actually a shapeshifter. he detects your fears and turns into them. same for other mother.

Another fact:

In Coraline, the cake “welcome home” has a double circle on the letter “o”. According to the graphology a double circle in the letter ‘o’ means that the person who wrote it is lying. The cake only has this double circle in the last o meaning that she is welcome but she is not at home

When Coraline is at the old ladies, one of them opens a chest of old candy labeled with years. There’s years are the said years the ghost children were captured.
1921 the tall ghost girl
1936 the boy ghost
1960 the sweet ghost girl
Which makes sense seeing as their clothes match these years.
Also I would totally go down that tunnel without telling anyone

My mom told me a theory that coraline’s parents actually died in a car crash and (I forgot their names 😭) the ladies downstairs took custody of her, and of course they let her roam the house/apartments as she pleases, so that’s why in the real world the house is old and dirty and empty, there’s no food and the little bit their is, is rotten and moldy. And the other world was actually just a dream that coraline’s mind conjured up as a way to cope with the death of her parents.

i always get chills when the other father is going after coraline in the garden and he has no control and he says "sorry, so sorry, dont wanna hurt you, mother making me". the way he says it is beyond creepy to me.

I have my own little theory about the other father's song.
"She's a peach, she's a doll, she's a pal of mine."
Maybe it's a reference to the other works the director has contributed to.
"She's a peach." James and the Giant Peach?
"She's a doll." Maybe a reference to Sally from Nightmare Before Christmas?
"She's a pal of mine." Probably a direct reference to the movie itself, since all Coraline really wants is a friend.

One thing I noticed was when Coraline said "I mean my other- other mother, Mom number one" If you look at the other mother's face, her smile drops

FACT: when the other mother tells coraline to fetch the other father, the other mother said "go fetch your father I bet he's as hungry as a pumpkin by now." And at the end he ACUALLY IS A PUMPKIN so all along the other mother was giving a hint

I just recently watched Coraline and notices the frames silhouettes of the three ghost children … the details are insane on this movie

When spiders finished eating there meals they leave them up displaying them like “trophies” and that is what I think the other mother is doing is displaying her “trophies”

I don’t know if anyone else noticed that when Coraline’s other mother tucks her in for bed and her fake room fades into her real room the other mother is sitting in a chair which fades into the doll!

Pennywise isn't actually a clown he's actually an entity that can turn into your worst fear but his most common form is a clown. I don't know if this is actually true it's just something I read and heard about online
