Показать описание
Due to its high strength, high density, high hardness and good penetration capabilities, Depleted uranium have already shined in armor-piercing projectiles. There should also be a lot of room for improvement in the application of fragment killing elements. Therefore, regarding the performance of the depleted uranium to penetrate the target plate, further investigation is needed to analyze its advantages and disadvantages compared to tungsten alloy. The aim of this simulation is to study the difference in penetration performance between depleted uranium alloy and tungsten alloy. The penetrator velocity was chosen to be 1500 m/s.

Could you do a video on the Tiger tank, but replace the armor of the time with Maraging Steel ???

Interestingly in this case, the Tungsten round looked like it did a better job of penetrating into and through the armor. Then again, I guess it depends on the armor that it's trying to penetrate.

Im confused on how a animation supposed to tell us what a round will do. Lol you put the info in and no just no. Not real life. They test plates that way theres no way a computer csn tell you what the round would do and what it can do to w.e steel being used but saying that i like seeing these vidoes keep going
