convinced that investing $50k-100k in the right company before it goes big is better than just saving for retirement. But since picking the right company is hard, saving might be safer—who would’ve guessed SPGI? I have $200k in a HYSA and want to invest. What are the best opportunities now?

The interviewer should learn to let the guest speak without interrupting. Her interrupting him when he was telling the story of -3L to finance knowledge was absolutely not in line with the goal of her question!

I’m 50 and my husband's 54 we are both retired with over $3 million in net worth and no debts. Currently living smart and frugal with our money. Saving and investing lifestyle in the stock market made it possible for us this early even till now we earn weekly. Thanks to FIRE movement.

Amazing content! I have been following your videos for sometime now, consistently kicking down Wall Street doors for two years now, I have over $320k in stocks. Currently, my portfolio is down by 15%. Wondering if they're any short term opportunities I can invest in.

3cr may or may not be enough to retire, 30L may or may not be enough to retire, 30cr may or may not be enough to retire, 3L may or may not be enough to retire - it all depends on what your goals are and it's VERY personal. Retirement goals are VERY personal, money goals are VERY personal, life goals are VERY personal. Therefore "You can NOT retire with 3Cr corpus" is very bold and sweeping statement which ignores "personal" nature of money goals and priorities.

Minimalistic life is big big help... Because greed is endless.. even 25 cr won't be enough then..

I am 53 and retired at 50. 1 thing I did do to retire early was to get out of the 401K and IRA programs. Bought rental real-estate and I am now a Limited Partner in about 1500+ units from collabrative efforts in the fund my estate planner has me invested in. I do not work.

Its enough if you live in tier 2 or tier 3 city. Also, this money wont sit in your bank account, it'll be invested either in FD or in Equity or mutual fund with atleast 10% returns. So yes, 3 cr is enough, even 1 crore is enough if you know how to invest.

The Market have been suffering over the past month, with all the three indexes recording losses in recent weeks. My $400, 000 portfolio is down by approximately 20%, any recommendations to scale up my returns before retirement will be highly appreciated.
