As much as the dead headphones is a issue I’m glad they don’t have a off button, it’s what separates these from any other set of headphones the ability to take it out the case pair it rapidly with your ecosystem and switch seamlessly, so annoying to turn on my mx5’s and wait to connect

They need to hold back on the premium metal materials & focus on making it light & more compact/ portable. I would love the Sony XM5 to have apples noise cancellation/ software

We just need, cheaper, lighter, usb C (will be obviously), better battery life, on/off modes, and the ability to use it plugged in even when the battery is dead (should be easy with usb C)

Right. An off button would be good. Seems odd that there’s no off button. And a plastic version for less money would be a good idea. It would also make it lighter

Make it lighter with titanium, 40 hours atleast and water/ dust resistant rating like the pro.

I enjoy the weight. Makes it seem higher quality. For example I have Bose quiet comfort headphones as well and they’re pricey and they sound pretty decent but the weight and feel makes them feel cheap.

unless they make them lighter I'll be buying the sony m5. The pressure I felt on my head while just trying them at the apple store was such a shock for me that as much as I love the design, I can't see myself buying them :(

We do need the power button. I’ve put them on and they just won’t switch on. It’s not the power they’re literally at 40-70 percent according the phone and I have to constantly reset it for them to work

2. Redesigned headband

3. More upper mids and less air frequencies

4. USB-C and NFC pairing.

Leave everything else as is, and it'll be an absolutely stunning pair of headphones.
