Michael, God forgives, your audience forgives, please come back!❤You are a wonderful teacher, a great communicator, you are loved and needed . Christianity s greatest virtue is Grace and forgiveness I believe. We all sin, I lost my temper yesterday and said a hurtful thing. I prayed for forgiveness. We need you as a teacher.

Elizabeth was filled with the Holy Spirit and said in a loud voice, " How is it that the mother of my Lord has come to visit me.?" Luke 1:41-43.
The protestants resent the title Mother of God but here is the Holy Spirit through Elizabeth addressing this young Jewish girl, Mary, as the mother of her Lord. How this must've felt to her at that moment.
God bless CM.

In the mid 1990's several central and South American countries began to celebrate and put greater emphasis on March 25th as this IS the beginning of Jesus ' human life, the incarnation, because they were strongly Catholic. And defending against the outside pressures to legalize abortion.

Amazing teaching, Michael. And Mary's faith and humility are astounding. She accepted God's will without condition or complaint, knowing that being found with child could cost her her life.

One must remember, Luke "interviewed" our Blessed Mother Mary and recorded her very words.

I always wondered why Our Lady wouldn't have been shocked and terrified by the sudden appearance of an angel out of nowhere.

The only Royalty there need be.

And if anyone should say: God save the king, I answer: Either you are a subject in fact, or you are on your way to become one.

Thank you MV for this segment on the beginning the Word taking on our nature.
One correction, however, regarding the origin and meaning of the word angel. 😢Angel derives from the Greek angelos, meaning messenger. It is not Hebrew ang’el (having to do with El, Elohim).
The Hebrew is malakh.
Thank you for all your heroic work, I watch you all the time.
Shalom and a blessed remainder of Lent.

Fun Fact about "the sixth month" and Jesus' birthday: We know from Luke 1:5 that Mary's kinsman, Zachariah served with the priestly division of Abijah, in which case, he would have been serving in the Temple around the time of the Jewish New Year in September, so Elizabeth would have conceived John upon Zachariah's return home in late September. In Luke 1:26 we see that Gabriel appeared to Mary "in the sixth month, " and he told her in verse 36 that Elizabeth was in her sixth month of pregnancy. The sixth month on the Hebrew calendar and the sixth month of Elizabeth's pregnancy both land in late March. Therefore, the Virgin Mary conceived in March. John the Baptist was born in late June, and Jesus, being 6 months younger than John, was indeed born in late December. So, there's our scriptural proof that Christmas has nothing to do with a pagan celebration of winter solstice. Besides, I'm sure the Blessed Mother would have remembered precisely when her own child was born when she relayed the story to Luke!

Mary was not Jewish. She was Muslim by belief and Arab ethnically. She spoke Aramaic, a dialect of Arabic, as did Jesus. Allah was the name of God that both Mary and Jesus called him. Wake up people, your running out of time as the End is nearer.

Michael, the angel did not say full of grace, the angel said greatly favored. There is a big distinction between the two expression. Unfortunately, Jerome in Latin translated that phrase as such, look to any other Bible and you do not find full of grace.

What makes me doubt Roman Catholic Mariology is the fact that Paul, Peter, John nor any other New Testament writer, not even Jesus himself ever explains or proposes what you have just explained. I would think that such an important doctrine would have been clearly announced in the Scriptures. It is not. Why do you think that is?
What is explained by the Lord God Almighty in his Word is that a very young Jewish girl, probably about 15 or 16, is told by the angel Gabriel that she is to give birth to the Messiah. Which was quite simply an integral part of His plan of salvation. Period. God is not obligated to convert this person into something divine or even semi divine. No. The idea was that his Son would be born to a 100% human descendant of David. Period.
I repeat. The Roman Catholic Church has made a whole other religion out of Mary that has nothing to do with the Gospel of Jesus Christ. This never was God's will and as such, is outright idolatry. I live in very Catholic Spain and believe me, it is idolatry.
