The Original Nemesis Vs Nemesis Reborn | Which Do I Prefer? 👀

Helloooo! Welcome back! Today I'm having a quick natter about my overall feelings of Nemesis Reborn, and how i find it compares to Nemesis and why. Please bare in mind Nemesis is my special interest, so of course, I do have a bias and I am oddly enamored with this silly roller coaster! I totally agree with the roar of the original. To me, and I know it's been proven to be the same speed, if not quicker. But the sound and loudness on the original definitely added to the "Feeling" of going quicker. It's definitely illusion, but it's like if you see a Sports car driving fast with a loud exhaust, your brain interprets that as quick, but if you see an electric car, it may well be going the same speed, but looks slower... if that makes sense? Great video and great to her your opinions!

Whilst I do prefer Reborn for the theming and overall smoothness, the orginal Nemesis was definitely more intense though don't get me wrong but Reborn is still a great ride but I do fell as if it's missing that extra umph that the original had but hey both versions are still great no matter which one you prefer

Some great points - whilst I do like the look of this ride better there's something that feels a little missing (and I'm not just talking about empty spaces in the queue line where theming should be). Losing the front row is a real shame, I do love Nemmy Reborn but it'll never ever give me the same emotions and feelings as the original. In terms of the track, we need to cut some deals with the scrap yard and grab a piece or two haha

Really interesting - thanks for the review - I haven't ridden the new version yet but have always loved the original (my favourite day at the park was riding Nemesis 64 times - 32 before lunch and 32 after lunch - oh I miss that single rider queue) - shame they have done away with the front row queue - do they just allocate you a seat now so it's random where you sit? I will have to visit later in the year and give it a go.

I preferred Forbidden Valley as it was, it felt a bit more original and organic. Calling it "Forbidden Valley" (as in you shouldn't go there) was a bit more fitting with the storyline regarding a dangerous monster coming out of the ground. Having a military like presence there and laboratories etc kind of ruins the effect for me. They've done a good job with the ride and it has preserved it for another 30 years.

I feel like with me I'm the complete opposite to most of your points 😂🙃 but I think that's bc my thoughts on the original are so different.

I never had that sentimental attachment, or any attachment for that matter. I just saw the original as....ok. So every change we've seen I've only seen as an absolute win.

But for people like yourself, I can completely get your viewpoint. If you loved the original then Reborn can be a hard pill to swallow. But for myself, I've found a new love for a ride that I thought was just mid. It's gone from probably not even in the top 10 to my #1 coaster 🖤

my only issue with the new Forbidden Valley is that it really feels like X Sector. Not only does A) Galactica/Air feel like it doesn't belong in Forbidden Valley and B) P̶h̶a̶l̶l̶a̶n̶x̶ ̶F̶a̶c̶i̶l̶i̶t̶y Forbidden Valley is so close to X-Sector that I feel like X-Sector needs to go... but then what happens to Oblivion/ Smiler? Forbidden Valley definitely does "X-Sector" better than... well... X-Sector. That area of the park needs something to help it stand out from the new Forbidden Valley.
