Me and my husband ended up naming our first daughter after Eris, since all I feel is that we live in a time of chaos and I think it’s a personally BEAUTIFUL NAME. And I adore the goddess of chaos and her planet as well 💕🥺

What amazes me is that in Greece we still use those names in the everyday language for the meanings they have in English. So in a sense the ancient gods still live among us…

The video was indeed educational for the lesser known gods but most of them cannot even be in the same list as Chaos, Erebus, Nyx and Gaia. Zeus was beneath them and respected them even if they hobored his titles as king of the Gods asthey were above mere gods as the Primordial Protogenoi.

You said that Selene is the personification of the moon, but you didn't say the same for Helios being the Sun itself. Helios is not the god of the Sun, He is the Sun.

Eris is my personal favorite goddess of the Greek pantheon. I even named my dog after her, ironically though tbh. My family is chaos incarnate, but my pup is the sweetest and most mellow dog I've ever seen. She's nearing her 10th birthday and I recently found a tumor on her chest, and today I found another lump near the tumor, it's looking like full blown chest cancer at this point. She's going in for surgery on Saturday, wish us luck.

Update: The vet rescheduled the appointment to the 17th. The surgeon got the flu, unfortunately.

Update: They found an additional 2 tumors along her mammary gland line. All 3 tumors have been successfully removed. The vet wants to keep her overnight to keep an eye on her and make sure she doesn't rip her sutures. I'm feeling pretty relieved, but we're still waiting for the tumors to be sent to the lab for testing.

Eros might be accurately placed, yet the other Eros would be number one. One version of Eros is Aphrodite's and Ares' son, while another Eros is a primordial and he is pretty much the only god who could have full control of the gods, as evidenced by Zeus' various escapades.

I am Greek. First of all it's honour for my country to be shown. But there were some issues. The pronounce of the names was horrible. If I wouldn't watch the video and just listen these words, I would not understand what language is this. And second, some of the stories you said, are American science fiction. That thing about apollon and Helios, was wrong. Helios means literally sun. He was going around earth every day. And third, some of the gods you displayed weren't that fearful. Irinies and Dionysus were a must on this least. Charos for example, was just moving souls with his boat to Hades. He wasn't feared.
