the abrupt final note at the end is so simple but so genius...the somber and mellow tune aready sells the title of this video/song but the end is the icing to the cake. when i imagine a life ending that's what i think of; the boundary between the final note and then the cutoff a second later. dying happens slowly, until at last life is there, and then it isn't.

The day this came out, the family dog of 12 years had a stroke. As I was sitting next to her, I listened to this. Never before had a song made me cry like this. While it was not the last hour of her life, it was the last day. I will forever remember you. I'll see you again on the other side. Thank you for all the amazing years together.
