These are such beautiful palettes! I love the way you showed how each palette can be made wearable, Michele! Even the finishing powder in the deepest palette can be worn as a bronzer on lighter skin tones, and the deeper shades can also be worn and are quite beautiful on the eyes. I wound up ordering the dragon palette this year, along with the matching brush. I just couldn’t resist, that gold case is so stunning!

Interesting so the dark palatte had an extra highlighter, the medium had an extra blush, and the light had an extra finishing powder. I wonder if those were all supposed to be more multi-purpose, or if its just a commentary on how different skin tones tend to apply make-up

Thank you for sampling all the palettes. I have not bought a new face palette from Hourglass in the last two years because I found them repetitive, but I love their quality. I'm not sure how travel friendly these palettes are because the powders seem kind of fragile. Even so, I am going to order the lightest palette. I do love that they have two finishing powders which I would definitely use. BTW, those earrings are so pretty!

Thanks for the review Michele! I have light olive neutral to cool skin and really any of these will work for me in different ways. That deep palette is a perfect summer cheek and eye palette when I use a bit warmer colors, and I can adjust the depth of the brighter and darker colors with the lighter powders in there. It’s stunning! I dont use many powder products which gives me pause for these, but I love these palettes! And I don’t think I can resist. The evil eye palette is my fav every day non summer colors tho. They all look beautiful on you.

Love your review! We are shade twins. I’ve never ordered an Hourglass holiday palette before, but this year I decided to order the dragon and evil eye (for winter and summer). I’ve been a little worried the evil eye might be too bright. But, after seeing how you applied it, I think it’ll work for me. Thank you!

Really lovely palettes. I also enjoyed your video on the Chanel blushes. It's really interesting to see that even the 'wrong' colours end up being more than ok when the quality is this good.

Last year I got the butterfly palette which I do not regret, I love it so much even after a whole year of use. All of these, overall, seem warm for me, including the lightest one bc that blush is just going to look orange on me (I'm South Asian w/ a light-medium complexion, sometimes a bit lighter, but a Soft Summer type for reference). That being said, these are definitely for someone so I hope someone finally got their perfect palette ❤ Thank you for the swatches and details
