Humana PROUD to Support Strip On The Strip 2015 Las Vegas 5K Run

More than 500 people came out for the second annual Strip on the Strip 5K Run, which benefited the U.S.VETS, a nationwide organization that provides job assistance, counseling and housing to homeless and at-risk veterans.

Some brought bags of clothes and others chose to wear them while running or walking and peeled a piece off at each mile mark to donate.

Strip on the Strip™ is a 5k walk/run down Las Vegas Blvd around the famous Welcome to Las Vegas Sign. Donate a piece of clothing at each 1K benefiting U.S.VETS – Las Vegas in support of the 2015 Veterans Stand Down. Participants receive race t-shirt, finisher medal, swag bag, Packet Pick–up Pre Party and admittance to the Official Strip on The Strip™ After Party. Whether you are a competitive runner, a 5K virgin, looking for corporate team building activity or just want to have fun with family and friends, Strip on the Strip™ 5K is for everyone.

U.S.VETS is the nation’s largest nonprofit provider of comprehensive services to homeless and at-risk veterans. They are dedicated to the successful transition of military veterans and their families. With 11 facilities in six states and the District of Columbia, U.S.VETS provides vital services such as case management, employment assistance, job placement, counseling, as well as drug- and alcohol-free housing to over 3,000 veterans each day. In a year, U.S.VETS will help 3,000 veterans find housing and over 1,000 veterans obtain full-time employment.
