Wow! Beautiful world class work! It's nice to see them creating something of such beauty. It's very close timing but at 3:37 I can see the side wood. It's probably a foolish question but what wood is black, or is it painted black? Just curious what the back and side and top woods are if anyone might know. I own a Takamine (nylon string) from 1986 I bought 3 1/2 months ago in May 2020, hardly ever played, cedar top, rosewood back and sides, and it is a phenomenal sounding instrument! When I was changing strings I used a mirror to see the inside structure system that is very impressive, and so unique in design and delicately constructed. I wonder now with nano microscopes and different imaging if they will be able to reveal how wood undergoes a molecular change once the instrument is played for a while. I read an article with photos of individual atoms and their layout, amazing!

I am out to purchase probably the last electro/acoustic guitar I will buy. I have a Takemine G series made in Korea.
I am now 50yr's old, and I am going for the pro series 'Jumbo' P5J.
Now I have been told to stick to my guns and make sure it is at the least from Jepan, as China no longer allows euro, UN checks, even on their Pro series?
Anyone got advice, please contact me.
