I've wanted to grow a beard since I was 12 yo. I'm 19 now, and still I still only have hair on my chin and a small moustache. And even those look disgusting at this state. In the meantime 17 year olds have larger beards than my actual hair. Unfair...

hey, i have a beard and it looks very nice, but only before it grows over 1.5 inch. After that its becoming messy, with the protruding hair all over my beard. So i need to shape it like every month or so, and i allways feel like i have cut too much. But it makes impossible for me to make my beard bigger. Should i stop shaping it so frequently and let it grow for longer? Maybe lower parts of the beard that are growing after the shaping, will become thicker as the rest of it with time? I dont know if i can live with that ugly protruding hairs xD
