Please clarify points of placement of electrodes.Where is based of penis on Surface .Should we place under scortum after lifting testis or at place where penis enters into pelvis near scortum .
What you say about mechanism involved .?
I m waiting for response

I have a question, my husband and i stopped having sex for like 10 years. We were focused on kids and work and forgot we were a couple. Until he started to fall for another woman which sorta snapped us out of it and back to each other. But here’s the thing, we’re both early to mid 40s, been smoking since we were teens, and are pretty out of practice.. now we are basically screwing like bunnies, or trying to, but he can’t quite stay hard once we get going, or one of us gets thrown off the rhythm, or we just get too tired and out of breath. We want to be with each other as much as when we first got together but our bodies are not letting us, what can we do?

The electrode placements indicated in the study seemed a bit odd to me - on and below the bulbospongiosus muscles, only 2cm apart? that wouldnt seem too effective to me.

Given that the ischiocavernosus (IC) muscles are the muscles most responsible for maintaining rigidity after blood enters, I'm curious as to why these muscles were not targeted in the study

[disclaimer: IANAD, this is NOT medical advice, DON'T try this at home! ] I did my own experimentation on this with a general purpose EMS device - brand name starts with C and ends in x, and custom-cut electrodes appropriately sized for the area. Electrode pairs were precisely placed at the far ends (located using 3D anatomy diagrams) of both IC muscles (about 10cm apart) using a method I devised to ensure sufficient contact pressure for optimal IC muscle contraction without shocking the skin or bleed-over of current to other muscles (or the family jewels, for that matter :-) )

Alternately using the "resistance" program (28 minutes) and the "endurance" program (55 minutes) at the highest tolerable current, 3 sessions a week for 6 months, it yielded a significant increase in IC muscle strength, so much so that I can voluntarily contract them in isolation them without also contracting the bulbosp. muscle. The rigidity improvement has been more modest than I had hoped (possibly a limitation of my age and/or insufficient NO/cGMP production), but I believe that this can improve as the IC muscles keep getting stronger and my overall fitness improves.

Any thoughts, Doctor?

Dr. Susie Gronski & Team, Why would a man have pain at the tip of the penis on the left side? Thank you for all your knowledge that you share with us all.

I don't see how it could work. The penis isn't a muscle so electric stimulation shouldn't work. It's more like a balloon. The only thing I can see is the tingle might cause an erection or maybe it's getting to the prostate or something.
