I purchased a 10 year old x220t that I would pick any day over my previous delicate surface pro 3 (three broken screens), HP 360(broken hinge/cracked screen) or an assorted list of other throw away machines.

My grandmother had an oster blender that was decades old. As a kid I used to think, "why not get a shiny new one?"

As a grown up, I now understand the respect for quality built stuff.

Oh yeah, the blender still works.

My friend, working as finance field in the Borneo jungle, have a ThinkPad X Carbon, this laptop still survive until now. He will never buy another laptop after using ThinkPad Series.
13 years ago as i remember have a ThinkPad L400, buy the new one, after 6 years of use and sold this laptop to my friend.
2021, after tired of many broken laptop after 3-4 years of use, i decided to buy used ThinkPad T460 about $225, and i very like this Laptop, very durable, build like a tank, and the keyboard very comfort for typing. Then I decided to upgrade with 16Gb RAM, 512Gb SSD, very fast for 6 years laptop.

When do you switch Fn and Strg?
Who likes that Fn is on the left? The Lenovo CEO?

0:47 "Both surpass military endurance tests to provide an unrivaled level of performance"
Since when are military endurance tests about providing performance? They are about endurance and robustness. The CPU, GPU, Cooling and so on are about performance.

1st. I go with the Y50 from the Y series for CoreGamers, then the X1 for portability.

You guys need to simplify your line up. What about E, P, Extreme, Nano etc etc...? it's so confusing.

This video tells us nothing about the differences between these series'. What a waste of time.

When do you offer Thinkpads without red nibble/mouse keys and larger touchpad?
Who really uses the trackpoint? Have you asked thinkpad users and made a survey?

Lenovo i know u dont care about thinkpad users and slap them every year in to face, but have mercy on our poor souls. If u wanto to do computer simmilar to fruit, do not add to 15 inch version a freaking numpad. I can stand new keyboard layot (i quite like it more), slimmer construcion - great, but numpad at w550 just killed me. If i want this piece of usless crap i will connect my computer to external keyboard, which i do most the time. When im working on the notbeook in the run i want normal keyboard no freaking numpad and assymetric trackpad... And at the end... If You want to kill 15 inch, at least do a 14 inch workstation with normal quad processor not damn ulv - are u crazy?
