I started sitting in a chair in front of a wall because I didn't like TV and was in boarding school. I used to get so so happy I would do it every day .I had never heard of meditation at 12 years old in the 70s so the school principal was convinced I was doing drugs .. I felt so ashamed and humiliated so I stopped out of shame and fear. Recently I found on utuble, that sitting infront of a white wall was a way to mediate . I haven't been able to do it again because I was so misunderstood. That's how bad our education system is . Buddhism and Hinduism were also taught in a very derogatory manner. 😔
