This is a Tashkent recipe for a loved-by-everyone Uzbek Pilaf. In general it is cooked with beaf or lamb, but some people prefer chicken also.

Just wanna ask..why dont you stir the rice and the gravy together while cooked it? Is that to prevent the rice break?

Hello, i would love to try to cook it but i have a question, when you heat the oil add the chicken and ognon, then you add water, but adding water on hot oil isnt dangerous ?? (sorry i have no cooking skills lol)
