the knight had blood on his face and no visible wound. I think he slaughtered the village and the slug was a good guy trying to kill him.

$16: "that's so expensive!"
$99: "okay let's do it!"

Wow, this is quite a feat. 48 hours could be spread out into six 8-hour work days, which would turn into about 1 minute of final product per work day. With a team of 5, you could theoretically make a stiff, goofy, but entertaining animated feature film in 18 days. Add 1 week for concept development and an extra week for editorial, and that's an Asylum production.

Nice job with doing the action, it worked! If you pre-rigged the characters so you could stream Xsens or Rokoko (even have someone perform remotely and pipe over IP to your computer) and just record the raw data into the project (you could then hand off the raw data for retargeting/processing while you continue working on other elements), you could create action really quickly that way too.

This is a hell of a precedent. Congrats.

Yo it looks like a great ad for some shitty mobile game about romans. Like just add a cool logo and a game play montage at the end and your done. Not bad at all for 48h.

This really shows how much time goes into such little content. 48 hours gets compressed into 5 minutes of work. 9 hours per minute. You should really appreciate animators.

U should do one in one week. I think that’s more realistic

I am 100% sure that the fallout 76 production cycle was exactly this.

Should have ended with a cut of the boy holding the slug and whispering "father..."

My personal critique, I would get rid of the "stand back" from the knight. I liked that it was wordless. There was a silent emotion that spoke louder than words.

Thank you... thank you, thank you, thank you. I literally cried myself to sleep last night, because I am a solo artist trying to do the work of a multi-million dollar studio. Realizing that it was going to take me 10+ years to create. I was sadden, disheartened, and felt hopeless. This video gave me hope, again; thank you.

Jesus Christ, I bet this is how those animated movie knock-offs do it.

No true indie filmmaker is truly worth their salt without completely not caring about the audio in their own damn movie lmao; I'm proud of you, Austin.

2 days? It took me 13 years to make an animated movie. I'm intrigued.

Fatal mistake was drinking 5 Hour Energy whilst you needed 6 Hour Energy.
