Welcome to episode 5 of my FM24 Head Coach story. We return for our annual journeyman story, combined with a Director of Football challenge. We start unemployed with no reputation or coaching badges, working our way to the top of the game with no say in transfers, contracts or staffing. In episode 5, we're back to finish our J League 3 season at FC Gifu. We've secured survival comfortably and found some form. We play our final game before looking at our season review, squad planner and what our Director of Football might leave us with next season!

Isn't there anyone you can promote from the youth setup?
I think your inbox previously reported that a left winger (Koji Origuchi) had been called up to the Japan U-19 national team, so he might be a quality talent to start from!

definitely a better first season then the other save. Hopefully the director can pull off some good transfer so we can have a good second season and maybe push for the title (or maybe a cup run if the japanese cup is even in FM atm)

Wonder if the GK was recalled if he wasn't played in the agreed 'role'? I was excited about the new changes but this game seems to be littered with bugs, I guess that's what happens in Beta but they seem like strange issues that didn't exist in FM23.
