Ngl, I am leaning heavily into staying at Gifu for a while longer. I think the DoF proved that he can make good changes to the squad and the boys we have rn proved they know how to play so I think we'll be able to stay in J2 comfortably

Written 3:45 into the video - on second thought: I guess that Gifu grows to a 2 star club after the promotion. So you should probably only accept job offer from 2.5 star rated clubs or better.

This being my first Head Coach series, do you keep track of all the clubs you manage and check on them even after you have left?

I think if you stay you will probably survive comfortably if not push for promotion as you got over 100 points and especially if the DOF performs well with a big budget . I think if you do get a job offer it will likely come from a club in Japan

I have been doing a similar save to this. I am aiming to do a pentagon as I have never even attempted one. I started in J3 and got promoted 1st season. 2nd season I am top at about a third through. I was tempted to change after season one too but I am glad I stayed where I was as the jump to J2 isn’t that big. My advice would be to do another year 👍

I would stay and start the season. If you get 10/12 games in and don't look like you're going to stay up, then either look for other jobs or walk away. If you are bottom ⅓ bit not in the relegation zone, I'd assume J1 teams in trouble may come looking, or take top J2 managers and you can apply for a better J2 team.

To be honest, I think you should try your hand at the J2 League, too, since it should be even more fun and challenging than the league you've just got out of: plus, the club might get one or two byes in the first rounds of the Emperor's Cup (All-Japan Cup) thanks to the promotion, so you could even try to win the trophy and qualify for the AFC Champions League, like Ventforet Kofu did last year! : )

I would try to push Gifu at far as possible(maybe even the AFC CL)before leaving

Don't discount the strong financial position of your current team. I wouldn't move to another team in poor finances and count on a DoF to fix things.

Have faith in the dof and give j2 a crack. Decent season in that and then move on
