It's irritating hearing the burglar in the last story got a slap on the wrist only because he's a minor. If they have multiple priors, try them as an adult, drop the hammer on them, and throw them away for awhile.

Second story if I heard at the parents door pre break-in then see someone and decide to just run entirely back downstairs then into the basement and lay low until they broke in and then wait all night as well. Why did they not stay initially committed to getting the parents as planned thus the dad gets his shotgun upon waking from his room and engage or await?!
