The Islamic Dilemma | Turning the tables on Christian apologists | WATCH TILL END!

The so called "Islamic Dilemma" or "Quran dilemma" is a fallacy propagated by Christian apologists like David Wood, al-Fadi, Frank Turek, Sam Shamoun and others. Basically, it distorts the Quran and the Bible to falsely proclaim an Islamic dilemma exists. God willing, in under 2 minutes, we expose and debunk the argument and demonstrate that it's the New Testament & Gospel narrative that poses a real dilemma for Christianity -- one that Christians cannot dodge without directly disobeying their "Lord" Jesus Christ! Christian apologists have a huge theology problem on their hands and they don't even realize it.

Bible consists of the Old Testament and the New Testament. The Old Testament is true and good and Jesus is saying to obey the laws of the Old Testament just don’t do what they do because they (scribes and Pharisees) are hypocritical. Jesus saying this IS the New Testament. The scribes and Pharisees were waiting for the messiah and he came but they didn’t like him because he didn’t follow man made customs and because he called them out in front of the masses on their hypocrisy, which is why they killed him. This argument isn’t really an argument. Just read and you’ll come to find that Islam is a sham set up by satan. Stay safe and god bless.

? - If you read the verse after it, Jesus explains that the Law that was given from God to Moses’s is good and that is what you should be following. This is what pharisees were preaching but the way the Pharisees were living was not good they were contradicting the Law.

So the author of this video is purposely misleading viewers by not reading the verse in context .

The verse you literally just showed is Jesus telling people not to do what the Pharisees are doing due to their hypocritical nature.

Ok, you're not really defending Islam, but if you choose this view, then you should be Jewish, because then according to your logic,
Qur'an says to obey the Bible, Bible says obey Jesus, Jesus says to obey the Pharisees/Rabbis. Therefore you should be a Jew.
Except that Judaism hates Jesus, while Islam claims they love and believe in Jesus, which they do, they believe he's the Messiah, but don't believe his Deity.
But regardless, I'll answer.

Moses' seat means a place in a synagogue where an authoritative teacher sat in, read the Hebrew scriptures because no one had a TaNaK in their homes.
Let's pretend we're in the 2nd temple period, we don't have a copy of the Hebrew scriptures. Where should we go? To a synagogue to hear the Scriptures and be taught, and likely by a Pharisee.
What Jesus is saying in context is:
"Although the Pharisees are prideful and give heavy burdens on others, you should go to them to be taught in the synagogues. For do you have copies of the Scriptures at your house? You need to be exposed to the Scriptures, so you should go to the synagogue and do what the Pharisees teach you because what they teach you from the Scriptures are Scriptural/Biblical."

I tried to simplify things from this website, from a Jewish Christian

Something called context.
Pls try to defend Islamic dilemma rather then pulling Bible verses out of context

First I laughed at this, but afterwards I got kinda sad of how blind people can be. My friend.. with all love and respect, please just read further with the verses you used for this video. Jesus literally said in Matthew 23:3 ‘But do not do what they do, for they do not practice what they preach’. What is Jesus saying here? The Jews (Pharisees) know the law (Old Testament) very well but they don’t obey it. So obviously they wouldn’t obey the law if the law pointed to Jesus, and that’s exactly what they did by rejecting Him (Jesus).
My friend (and all Muslim friends who read this) please just seek ‘the truth’ rather than trying to debunk something to make yourself look better. All it does is rather the opposite.
My love for you guys is real so please take to heart what I’m saying. God bless you all❤️

Pharisees believed in the old testament only. Jesus is basically saying follow what the old testament (which is in possession of the pharisees). So this isn't a Christianity dilemma.

Mr. Theology Room failed.
This verse Mat 23:2, 3,    refers to the ancient Jewish custom of the Rabbi’s special seat at the synagogue which is called “Moses’ Seat’: When a person read sitting there, they were reading the Written Torah.
Right there Yahushua was telling the disciples to follow the Written Torah.
Mr. Theology Room failed to address the second half of the verse of Yahushua's teaching, by not reading the entire verse. It appears that he doesn't comprehend Yahushua's teachings. Specifically, "return to the written Torah of Yahuah."
Here is the entire verse. "Mat 23:3  “Therefore, whatever they say to you to guard, guard and do. (the written law) But do not do according to their works, (the oral law) for they say, and do not do." In this verse, the word "works" is referring to the Jewish Torah called "Works Of The Law" or just "Works" for short.
Works is the Oral Law that Yahushua was teaching against in order for them to return/repent back to the "Written Law, " called "Moshe." That was Yahushua's plan of salvation.
Here is a quick recap of Yahushua's own words and His answer to the plan of salvation.
Mat 19:16  "... one ... said to Him, “... what good shall I do to have everlasting life?”  17  And He (Yahushua) said ... if you wish to enter into (everlasting) life, guard/keep the commands."
Yahushua taught the written Torah throughout His ministry.
It is still a custom of followers of Yahushua to read the Torah every week. I. E.
“For from ancient generations Moses has had in every city those who proclaim him, for he is read every "7th-day" Sabbath in the synagogues.” (Acts 15:21)
Messiah Yahushua was a Rabbi.

Hadith of Law laak - الحديث: لولاك

('If not for you (O Muhammad!) I would not have created creation')

Question: What do the respected Ulama of the religion and Shariah say about the hadith:

لولاك لولاك ما خلقت الأفلاك - Law laaka law laaka maa khalaqtal aflaak. Which book is this hadith in? Is the Prophet of Allah (sallallahu 'alaihi wasallam) the reason for creation or not? Are there other ahadith that support this narration?

Answer: Indeed the Prophet of Allah (sallallahu 'alaihi wasallam) is the reason for the creation of Adam alaihis salam and the universe. If the Prophet of Allah (sallallahu 'alaihi wasallam) was not in existence, then the Arsh and Kursi,  Lawh and Qalam, the Skies and the Earth, Heaven and Hell, the trees and stones and all other creatures would not exist.

And while the lafdh in question is not considered an authentic wording from the Prophet (sallallahu 'alaihi wasallam), it is, as Mullah al-Qaari said, "Though al-Saghanee says this is mawdu even so I say its meaning is saheeh (authentic) even if it is not a hadith.

There are many ahadith to this effect.

Hadith 1: al-Hakim in his Mustadrak, Baihaqi in Dalail an-Nubuwah, Tabarani in his Kabeer, Abu Naeem in his  Hilya and ibn Asakir in Tarikh Damishq report from Sayyiduna Ameer al-Mumineen 'Umar ibn al-Khattab Farooq al-Adham (radiyallahu ta'ala anhu) that:

The Prophet of Allah (sallallahu 'alaihi wasallam) said: Allah said: When Adam made the mistake, he asked: O Allah! I ask you for the sake of Muhammad to forgive me. Allah said: O Adam! How do you recognise Muhammad when I have not yet created him? Adam said: O Allah! When you created me and blew into me the spirit, I lifted my head and saw written on the Arsh La ilaaha illallah Muhammadur rasoolullah. So, I got to know that you would only join your name with him who is most beloved to you. Allah said: O Adam! You have spoken the truth. Indeed Muhammad is more beloved to me than anything and when you asked me for his sake, I pardoned you. If Muhammad was not in existence, I would not have created you (Also from Imam Subki in Shifa as-Siqam and Shihab in Naseem)

Hadith 2: Hakim in Mustadrak and Abu as-Shaykh in Tabaqaat al-Isfahani in a report from Sayyiduna Abdullah ibn Abbas (radiyallahu ta'ala anhuma) that:

Allah revealed to Prophet Isa alaihis salam that: O Isa! Have faith (imaan) in Muhammad and order your ummah to do the same. If Muhammad was not in existence, I would not have created Adam nor would I have made heaven or hell. (Also from Shaykh Taqi ad-Din Subki in Shifa as-Siqam and Shaykh al-Islam al-Bulqini in his Fatawa and ibn Hajar in Afdal al-Quran).

Hadith 3: Dailami in Musnad al-Firdaus reports from Sayyiduna Abdullah ibn Abbas (radiyallahu ta'ala anhuma) that:

the Prophet of Allah (sallallahu 'alaihi wasallam) said that Jibrail came to me and said that Allah says: If you were not created, I would not have made the heaven or hell.

Hadith 4: ibn Asakir reports from Salman al-Farsi (radiyallahu ta'ala anhu) that:

Jibrail came to the Prophet of Allah (sallallahu 'alaihi wasallam) and said that Allah says: I have not created anyone who is more honoured to me that you. I have created the world and all that is therein so that they may know the rank that you possess. I would not have created the world if I had not created you.

Hadith 5: Imam Shihab ad-Din ibn Hajar Asqalani says:

These reports say that if Muhammad (sallallahu 'alaihi wasallam) were not created then Allah would not have made the skies nor the Earth, neither heaven nor hell, neither the sun nor the moon.

There are many other ahadith on this subject which have been collected by Imam Ahmad Rida Khan Barelwi in his brilliant Tajalli al-yaqeen baana nabiyyina sayyidil mursaleen and it is without doubt that the righteous ulama have addressed the Prophet of Allah (sallallahu 'alaihi wasallam) as the Reason for the creation of Adam and the universe. If the sayings of our ulama are collected, this would cover a voluminous book. A few are noted below.

Hadith 6: see the discussion of the very important hadith of Jaabir.

Excerpt 1: Imam Saif ad-Din Abu Jafar bin Umar al-Humairi al-Hanafi in his al-Durr al-tanzeem fee mawlid al-nabi al-kareem says:

When Allah made Adam He revealed to Adam to ask Him: O Allah! Why have you made my kuniyah as Abu Muhammad? Allah said: O Adam! Lift you head. He lifted his head and saw the noor (light) of the Prophet of Allah (sallallahu 'alaihi wasallam) on the Arsh. Adam asked: O Allah! Whose is this noor? Allah said: It is a Prophet from your progeny. His name is Ahmad in the skies and Muhammad on the Earth. If he were not created, I would not have created you or the skies and the Earth.

What? Lol

Your refutation makes no sense. Read the text in full context. Matthew 23:2-3 even ends with "..But do not do what they do, for they do not practice what they preach". It's still a dilemma for islam. The copy/paste religion. Without lies, islam dies.

Don’t just read one verse in the Bible. If you read just one verse more (Matthew 23:4) you’d see that Jesus is telling his followers to listen to their teachings (the Old Testament) but don’t live it out the way they do because they are doing it wrong. Literally one more verse of context disproves your central argument. You also did not address the claim made against Islam. Rather you just deflected.

Jesus never said to obey pharasees personally, he meant obeying them when they teach the Torah to the jews.

Hey, Thank you for taking the time to make this video. I gotta tell you though, it didnt combat any of the contradictions David Wood spoke about in his original video. I was hoping for a lot more in depth look into something I had never seen in the Bible, but of course I was mistaken. 'To Sit in the Seat of Moses' means to do like Moses did in Exodus. The next day, Moses took his seat to hear the people’s disputes against each other. They waited before him from morning till evening. – Ex. 18:13 And He judged the matters according to THE LAW that Elohim had given him. And as YHWH commanded in Deut. 17, "all that the judge commands you shall do." YHWH is not giving these men authority to make new rules and laws. They are in charge of Enforcing the laws accordingly. So this, with out doubt, shows us that Christ was telling the listeners to Follow the Law that God passed down, but do not Act as those men act. No contradiction in these verses, they are quite succinct. Definitely sending up a for you and also for when you read this and respond.
