String pinsetters should only be used for those mini bowling games you find in arcades like Highway 66 or those mini “Duckpin” games which have been popping up in some arcades in bars in some states. I hope String pinsetters will not be the future of bowling, but unfortunately two Bowleros near me and another named Bowl 360 have switched to strings, but on the bright side the bowling alley which I’ve been going to almost all my life in Sunset Park, Brooklyn still retains their free-fall pinsetters.

Most of the ads in the bowling trade magazines we get are string pin machine ads, it looks awful

I mean this models are kinda safe but the amount of times they get tangled. That’s why I prefer the older machine models
