This is the 'Siba' scale. In a nutshell, you can do miracles if you sing in other Arabic scales. I'm a musician and I know what I'm talking about.

HOW have I not come across any British Middle Eastern people who make this musical culture hybrid! Surely they’re out there! And why isn’t this a massively popular genre?! You can’t beat the original genre of Middle Eastern vocals, but it’s angelic being able to listen and also understand the words 🥲
If you know any artists who do make this music that I’ve missed, PLEASE mention them!

Also, your absolutely beautiful, voice and all! Lucky and massively talented woman! I can imagine it took a lot of hard work training your voice to be as beautiful as it is! Well done 💖

i was expecting to be let down maqam hijaz or hijaz kar bc that's what many westerners call the "arabic scale" (i didn't know languages could have scales haha), but i soon as i heard the neutral second my face lit up. this is beautiful, keep it up ^-^
