These recipes were all the rage in the early 70’s after the crock pot was invented in 1971. Everyone loved this invention & used the heck out of it. For women newly going back to work it was a godsend.

I would save the bacon for after it was finished cooking and top it off to have that delicious crunch. I twill get soggy if cooked in the whole thing.

IMO this chicken dish looks to dry maybe try this with 2 cans of the cream of chicken soup with /one can of heavy cream or whole milk and then for the other can of soup add one a can of either chicken broth or stock ? What Seasoning are you using ? I'm learning too.😊 thanks for posting....
