I called my local congressman last week and talked to his office they said they are getting lots of calls from folks asking for more military and other aid to Ukraine. Said they are going to really ramp up support in the coming months and we will start to see it soon probably before the end of the year. This is very heartening. I think the USA has barely started with the support they are going to give Ukraine. Thank you folks for talking to your representatives it is starting to make a big difference!

As a former member of the military, and still living very near a base outside the largest city in my state, I have seen what happens when illness hits a base and it’s not pretty. I had to take vaccinations just in case I was ever deployed to a theater in which I could be exposed to viruses I had never been exposed to in the USA. The need for vaccination was dictated by my job and the areas of the world where I could potentially be sent. In case of a sudden conflict there wouldn’t be time for maximum immunity to be conferred if vaccination was only done once deployment orders were cut. Readiness requires that one be ready to go within hours, not days or weeks. Before vaccines were available, our readiness posture was severely compromised. This is a big mistake ❤

This conflict could drag on for a long time so the Western alliance needs to help the Ukrainian resistance forces to develop & expand their own military equipment production. Military factories, protected by anti-drone/missile systems, need to be established and staffed asap inside Ukraine. Short supply lines, from the factory floor to the front lines, will help win this war.
