I own this and imo it’s the most value for money car ever. Paid just 32 lakhs for a car with such amazing quality design comfort and performance. Think of what 30 lakhs can get you in the cars available today nothing as good as this.

this car should be talked about more. i own the L&K variant and have been scouring the internet to see if anyone has any modes done on it. Just curious if the ECU has been unlocked yet since I am open to tuning it

The thing is i am planning to buy next year and by that time the latest under 20L Gen3 will still be 5+ years old whereas this would be 22-23 model at similar price. It has a bigger engine, need some good wheels and some suspension mods that's it and you end up with a much more reliable car as its newer.

While this EA888 Gen3b has less scope for tuning, honestly the stock setup itself is DEADLY. A stage 1 remap will take this car to another level and really anything beyond stage 1 for a FWD car is simply a waste of time and effort. From a practical standpoint tuning this to stage 1 should provide a sane person with loads of fun.

Have a question regarding the EA888s.

1) Are the EA888s in the a4 and q3 different from the tiguan, kodiaq, octavia etc? I have heard from some sources including audi brochures that these cars have 204hp instead of the regular 190hp. Maybe it is just different software but you would know better

2) Besides different software what does the Q5/A6 EA888 have in terms of hardware upgrades over the other 190hp/204hp cars?

Just have a question, can the i20 turbo/Nline be fitted with the verna's 1.5 turbo engine? That's what Hyundai should have done.

Instead I would buy mk6 jetta tdi. Remap it and the car would go crazy.. All in just 8lacs
