Marriage is a full time job, unfortunately so is raising children. And most of all married couples now both have to work just to have a place to live and a car to drive. But many of us have made the balancing act. Never perfectly. But well enough to be married for 48 years. We have a lot more to fill before ever getting to this point. I think a big part of their marriage being so successful is trust. Love and trust can see you thru just about anything. That and Faith. We both have faith and leaned hard on our Lord for the last 48 years. We learned that when you pray God listens. It has worked for us. I hope that marriage again becomes something that is done for life. It makes it all worthwhile.
