Set in the 1950s and 1960s, "The Banker" begins with Bernard Garrett (Anthony Mackie), a savvy and ambitious African American man who aspires to break through the racial barriers in the real estate industry. To achieve his goals, Garrett recruits Joe Morris (Samuel L. Jackson), a successful and experienced businessman, to be his partner. However, they face numerous challenges due to their race, as African Americans are often denied opportunities in the business world.

In order to overcome these obstacles, Garrett and Morris devise a plan to use a white man, Matt Steiner (Nicholas Hoult), as the face of their business while they pull the strings behind the scenes. They train Steiner to act as the frontman for their real estate and banking ventures, as he poses as the owner while Garrett and Morris secretly make the important decisions.

It's such a powerful movie. As an individual who feels terrible through what other races have to go through to show their potential. To this day, this video could give so many powerful lessons. If one gas an ambition, I'm more than with them as no one should be judged by labeling them incorrectly.

Great film. As a Hispanic man raising my white step son as my own son and teaching him the fundamentals about money. It is not about the color, the character.

Im white and even i felt this deep in me. My wife is half black so ive never seen color growing up. To view such racism is so bothersome. But this part was by far a strong hit dialog exicuted so strongly felt so personal like i was there. Amazing performance

Well, a lot of us don't have apple TV because we don't suck apple ass. So I guess we'll never see this movie.
