Thanks for this explanation between the two very similar models! In the U.S., the "Genius X Limited" was available during Amazon Prime days for $99.99, down from $149.99. It includes the handle, a cross-cut brush, the charger, and a cheap, white plastic case that reminds me of a light blue one that Oral-B sold for some of their older electric toothbrushes, not nearly as nice as the hefty black case that came with our previous models. It also says "Artificial Intelligence" on the box.
Costco is currently selling a two-pack package that just says "Genius X" on the box and includes two handles, four regular brushes, two chargers, and two of the same cheap, white plastic cases. It does NOT say "Artificial Intelligence" on the box. I had ordered both, not knowing specifically what was in the Costco box and didn't open either box until after I found this comparison. Another video review of the Costco two-pack confirmed that this model is an earlier model that uses the front-facing camera, which means that I would most likely never use that feature.
Bottom line, after seeing your review, I kept the two Genius X Limited models that I ordered from Amazon for me and my wife, and the Costco two-pack is going back! I might have paid $50 more for two toothbrushes, but I think I got the better model.

You've stated the Smart Guide works with the Genius 9000, but not the Genius X. What about the Genius 8000 though. Can it be connected to that or not? Æ

How does the genius 6000 compare to these? It’s a bit hard to understand what the difference is between all these features as someone who hasn’t used a brush like this before. My Genius X stopped working, and I got my new Genius 9000 Handle(alone) online. However, the position detection detects brushing the top and the bottom front teeth.

Electric Teeth other benefits for the Genius 9000 is that the Oral B App allows a users to change between brushing in 4 quadrants or brushing in 6 sections. And Brushing 6 sections allows a user to develop the muscle memory from brushing with the Oral B app. Since a users would be brushing in 6 sections but without the app.

Hello, my genius 20000 x is paired with iphone 7 and some times it generates duplicate brushing data on oralb app and apple’s health app. It is messing statics. I tried to delete duplicates but they are re-appearing. Any idea why is this happening? Thanks.
