She still fascinates for a reason...a dark one

I’m making use of this comments section because apparently the creators of this channel were too cowardly to allow comments on their full length Marilyn Monroe video. That might not have been such a big deal if the only problems in it were merely the shoddy editing and the narrator’s inability to pronounce a large portion of the words (which seems to be an issue throughout their videos), even the easy ones. However, the reason I’m bothering with this comment, is that the video on M.M. Is so full of inaccuracies and outright lies, it would be exceedingly tedious to list them all. I just don’t have the time right now, but maybe I’ll edit this later. I’ve done a decent amount of research on her, including reading numerous biographies (the more respected ones; the plethora of books written about her, from before she perished and until now, are not all equal in quality and credibility!), and so it was quite easy to spot all the errors in the video. Did the writer/s just watch “Blonde” and then summarize that film? It sure feels like that’s what happened, since “Factinate” includes the same erroneous rumors and myths which made “Blonde” such a painful thing to witness. Yes, some of it is accurate, but that doesn’t make up for getting so much blatantly wrong, and there’s no awards due for the level of work a middle schooler could manage in a biographical essay based on all the ridiculously easy to find information out there on Monroe. When I set out to watch the video, I’d hoped for even just one rare tidbit of info, but far from that, it just made me mad, and I only watched the whole thing so I could give the makers a piece of my mind… which then turned into disappointment at finding they lacked the guts to leave the comments on. Of course, most of the time comments on any video about her are little more than doting fans fawning over how amazing and tragic she was. It’s the same old thing every time, which is fine, but these being left off has me thinking they already knew/know that their result was a lazy, sloppy, shameful project made solely because it was an easy way to get views. Before I break from this tirade, I’ll give a brief example of why the script appears to be plucked directly from the debauchery that is “Blonde”. The film gives a grotesque depiction of an affair with Chaplin Jr. (etc. - I can’t even stomach describing it in full), and this is parroted in the video, despite an obvious lack of evidence to support the story. Alright, I suppose I ought to return later and include a list of the other fibs, but don’t blame me if it takes awhile. I do in fact have other things to do with my time besides correcting YouTube creators who should know better. Oy vey!

Most of these stories are so old, now that she can’t protect herself, why don’t you try one of the living actors that can.

That was a list of opinions and adjectives without a single fact about the woman's life
