I feel so sorry for Michael, seeing how his life just went downhill after losing his daughter. I'm happy to hear he's gotten clean and has a loving family now

People don't realize that addiction is a major problem in the food service industry. Many self medicate to get through long, grueling shifts. I wouldn't be surprised to find that there was at least one chef every season who had some kind of addiction

Michael Wray is the reason why I watched 6 seasons of Hell's Kitchen. He made the 1st season memorable by sabotaging other contestants without being noticed. Even Gordon praised him for being cunning and wise. But knowing the ups and downs of his life is so sad. Good thing he is totally clean and now have a happy family

Michael Wray went through Hell's Kitchen had a slice of Heaven fell to Hell and then dragged himself back onto Earth. Incredible he gave up, and then resolved to do better. He hit rock bottom and resolved to be better than he was. You could make a movie on this guy's story.

I got to work with Danny working at Salt Life, he’s professional, kind and a good time. I can’t really remember any bad times working with him or hanging out off the clock, one of my favorite memories is closing the restaurant on New Year’s Eve and heading to a local bar with other staff to celebrate the new year. Honestly love that guy

Christina is the greatest! Love to watch her on Hells Kitchen when she sabotages people as the sous chef. Solid talent.

Fun fact about the first winner, they had to change the rules of the show because of him. The way he played was too dishonest and it seems they don’t really know who the best chef was that season. He was too manipulative, back stabby, sabotaged the competition. They can no longer do that and Gordon is more on top of that too.

Two of my favorites: Dave was a beast with only one arm, and Scott was a true "soldier" never giving in

With a daughter that I thought I nearly lost. I can say that feeling is indescribable. I can't even begin to understand losing a child. I feel so bad for him. I'm glad he's doing better.

Last I knew of Wray was he had Tatou. Never knew he fell that far.

Dave was a beast the whole show. He is the prime exemple of dilligence and hard work. He is absolutly underrated

A question I often see about recent HK winners is why they would turn down the position. A good reason is because their show was taped two years prior to airing.

A _lot_ can happen in those two years, and better opportunities happen to come by for Ariel, Kori and Alex.

Sure, working at the prize restaurant is nice, but if you have better quality of life at home, it’s best to stick with it.

I ate at Ramsey's Kitchen in Las Vegas a couple weeks ago. 1st time to try a Gordon Ramsey's restaurant. While was one of the most expensive meals I'd ever had, it was quite possibly the very best meal I've ever had too. I was blown away by just how good the food was.

It's amazing to see that Christina started as a contestant to Gordorn's right hand

HKOne never opened. It was in my town and we were all excited. For a while, we never knew what happened to Michael. His story is tragic but it seems like he's turning it around.

Thank you for making this video!!! Only 2 things- he escaped to Taos NM desert 🌵 before he got sober.
We do not have any kids together- a wonderful rainbow family. I have 3 kids. Ozmo is Michael & Lola’s child ❤

It's amazing how it seems like the "prize positions" aren't what they cut out to be

As far as the kid saying, "Mommy, you're the best chef ever, " I always thought that was fake when I first watched it. You can't see the kid saying it and his voice is muffled and somehow the mother can hear the kid over all the people screaming. This doesn't matter and I really don't know but when I first saw that I remember thinking, "Thank goodness for post production." Great video. I'm still not sure why that was the section that drove me to leave a comment.
