Thanks for posting. We got pricing on Kraftmaid cabinets from Lowes last week. We have a Kraftmaid vanity and cabinets in our bathroom that we installed a couple years ago as part of another renovation project. They are great cabinets. Very happy with them. Probably go with them for our kitchen project as well.

I thought Kraftmaid is a semi custom manufacturer (basically stock cabinets with some options to alter). I didn't know they make custom cabinets too.

What is the length of the wall cabinets? Was it a custom made or stock cabinet?

Definitely needed black grout for backsplash. The contrast is extremely necessary and would match the hardware. And no this is not an opinion, this isn’t a gray area. Backsplash from back does show the handwork of each tile. Make it black. Once you go black, you don’t go back.
