Why Choose KraftMaid Cabinets?

Quality control must not exist at KraftMaid. Half of my first order had defects in the finish or was damaged before being boxed up at the factory. Severe bubbles in the clear coat, fingerprints in the stain, smashed frame to the point of splintering behind an undamaged door, rough finish, damage that obviously was attempted to be repaired, parts labelled as ordered but were the wrong size in the box, and I could go on. Part of the replacements took another month to arrive. Again, a significate amount was defective. It's been a week and no one has been able to tell me what is going on with the rest of the original reorder or how long it will take for the second reorder. Be prepared for quality issues and for the project to take a couple of months longer than expected. Other than that, they are good cabinets.

Their quality is not what its cracked up to be. I really think it stems from rushing the process to
meet production rates and employees really don't care.

I received so many cabinets crashed, damaged, coating so thin, we received a first oven cabinet build with the base smaller than the top, we order a second one came with major damaged, Waiting for the number 3 . Same with almost all doors and drawers. We are waiting for 3 same up cabinets . The pull up for my spices came broken, still waiting for a new one . I passed the number of cabines we have already changed . They always ship a new one but with an other damage . We order with Lowes, they helped but we started the kitchen 4 months ago ...Every new order is 4 mores weeks. I do not know how Lowes or Home Depot can work with a so bad company . If they do not use a better quality control they will be in bankruptcy.
I try to talk with the sell representative but impossible ...very disappointed.I will Never use this company again and I told everyone, I do not want anyone have this nightmare. It is a shame!

Never again. My cabinets were delivered with so many defects, I ended up returning my entire kitchen to Lowe’s, then reordered and again, received a kitchen with junk stuck in the paint, cracks, scuffs and even holes. Kraftmaid used to be a great company. Y’all have let us down. I will never buy your products again.

As a cabinet maker. I would not let any of these garbage products leave my bench. My 1st year apprentices do a significantly better job on their first day. If this can help anyone from heartache and financial burdens. They are a garbage company. Their finish is junk their hardware is junk their material is junk everything they sell you is a lie. They should be ashamed of themselves

Garbage. Feel free to contact if you want proof - pictures. We had a small buffet area. They had to send us 3 sets of doors before the finish was even close to acceptable. Our kitchen island. 5 end panels and we only got to a proper staining job when they finally sent a local cabinet maker to fix their work. Now dealing with a warranty claim within 6 months of installation and they're claiming is our overloading of a drawer. AVOID KRAFTMAID AT ALL COSTS.
