I live on the route and tragically it kinda becomes mundane after many years. Until randomly some day whilst going to the shops or whatever the sun hits the loch and mountains just so and all of a sudden I feel the awe that struck me when I first moved here.

done this 4 times and wild camped 3 of the times and roof tented the 4th. if oyu have never done it, you missing out

Shame about the huge amount of litter and human waste being dumped along the route.
Added to roads unsuitable for vehicles larger than an average family car or minibus, the sheer number of "tourists" is ruining this beautiful countryside.
