Oil Rig Rust - easy way to solo kill heavy scientists

Oil rig Rust : Small Oil Rig and large oil rig in Rust are one of the best monuments. You don’t need radiation resistance, it has a lot of barrels, crates, diesel fuel, a green card, blue card and red card puzzle room with green military crates, elite crates and locked crates. In my opinion the oil rig is one of the easiest ways to get in rust locked crate, which drops tons of high tier rare items like the MLRS aiming module, AK, bolty and even L96 rifle.

The trick is F1 grenades, which for 30 gun powder at tier 2 and 12 scrap at bandit camp or outpost are cheap. I usually use only 4, but I like to take 8 to 10 F1 grenades with me.

Jump on the container from which you need to crouch jump on the railing. This is the most difficult part. First perform a crouch jump, so in default setup this is “ctrl” and “space” and “W” at the same time. While crouch jumping look down. Somehow in Rust looking down allows to jump higher. While you land on the the railing just for a split second hold all 3 crouch jump keys, than let go of “ctrl'' and “space” while still pressing “W''. Immediately press “space'' for jump.

Once all heavy scientists have agroed below you and you aren't getting shot at anymore, take of your heavy plate helmet. Go in the right corner of the platform, aim your gun at this point where to railings meet. Now switch to your F1 grenage, look up until the bottom of your screen is slightly below where these two triangles of the tower meet. Just be careful not to aim higher, because the F1 grenades will land right at your feet and kill you. Throwing 4 nades should be enough. Once you check that all Rust heavy scientists are dead, you can take off your heavy plate pants and jump down, loot the heavies and wait for the hack timer on the locked crate to finish.

NPCs deal bite damage not bullet damage, using heavy plate or even metal is useless unless you expect a PVP counter.
