In this Dropbox tutorial I talk about receiving large files through dropbox using their file request service.

Receiving large files from business associates or clients can be very troublesome at times. As you know email is very limited and if someone has to send you a large file it's not that easy to do without using a 3rd party service. Dropbox is great for receiving large files and they now have that ability built right in with their Request File option. With this you can receive large files up to 2 gb for the free account and up to 10gb for pro members. You can also setup requests to receive a group of files. For example if you are expecting 5 people to send you a copy of their file for a project you can setup a file request called "Project Files" and send this link to your clients/associates. When they upload the file it will be saved automatically in your dropbox folder. You can also view your file request on Dropbox's website and see how many people have sent you files. It's a really great service.
