It has been years since I used Dropbox. I had a need for someone to send me a 4.5 gb video file today and figured Dropbox would be a good way to do it. I created a folder to share but I couldn't remember how to share it. I tried one way but to no avail. Your video gave me the answer. Thank you.

Understanding "File Requests" was on my to-do list for today. Now - it's checked off and I can move on to the next one. Thanks!

Hi, thanks for this wonderful video. Please suggest if we can see who is using the shared dropbox link to access the folders.

wow, just came across this video, thanks for creating it and

Hey, Dottotech, I wonder if Dropbox looks the same now 2023... I am trying a DB account and seems like when I send a Shared file DB has advertising and such. I wonder if I can get that to not happen, like just send my shared file or file request without asking to create a DB account?

Your evolving tonsorial splendor enhances your sartorial elegance. 👍 😉. Importantly, you are adding visual gracefulness to your clear, concise teaching! Excellent! Thank you! -- Have you changed any of the technology/methods you use for producing your screencasts?

Great info.

Question: I have Regular Files and Shared Files displayed on my personal account info page. If I delete regular files I open up more space, however, I don't know how to delete "Shared Files" to open up more space. Is there a way to do reduce/delete the shared files so I open up more space? Thanks..

I have placed some files in a shared folder in my dropbox and notified the sharer . How can I tell when they have read or downloaded it/them so I can delete them.

I accidentally saved some sensitive files into a shared dropbox folder on my PC because the stupid desktop program made the dropbox folder my default 'save as' location. This folder was created by someone else (admin) as a shared folder who gave me edit access. I tried to delete those files on my PC and also online. Will the folder owner be able to view/restore those files?
