Their music was so exquisite and precise, but still had a soul. I love to hear breakdowns of their material, ..really makes you appreciate Richard's behind the scenes contributions.

This photograph was taken right in front of KEZY AM-1190, the front lawns, at 1190 East Ball Road, Anahiem, CA. 92805. I understand that was QUITE the undertaking with the City Planning Commission, to have the radio studios built at exactly "1190" East Ball Road, to match the AM frequency that was issued to KEZY by the F.C.C.

Some 25 years later, ironically, the radio media group I was working for at the time, purchased that property in the year 1998 I believe, and put me in a corporate crew of engineers, to tear down & dispose of all the old studio equipment and gut the building. I saw a few artifacts from the 1970s, that were no doubt there, when Richard & Karen made their visit to now, very gone, AM-1190 KEZY, Anaheim.

Very interesting how they produced and mixed, Sing. Getting all those kids in the studio and sing all together and in time with the song must have been a challenge. The Carpenters used to have kids get up on stage to sing with them when they sang sing.

CREEPY !! Downey (Domremy). It is as if Joan of Arc reincarnated as Karen Carpenter. DID YOU KNOW? That Joan of Arc is the identical twin sister of Mary Magdalene. "Karen Carpenter is the preeminent martyr of easy listening. The Joan of Arc of soft rock.". "I AM [Je suis] the drum upon which God is beating out his message." -- Joan of Arc.
