Here are today's 5 GAS puzzles (Genuinely Approachable Sudoku):
GAS 131 – Shamrock by Philip Newman:
Normal sudoku rules apply. Along green lines, digits must differ from their neighbors on the line by at least 5.
GAS 132 – Exclusion Sudoku by Clover:
Normal sudoku rules apply. A digit in a white circle may NOT appear in the four cells surrounding that circle.
GAS 133 – Classic Sudoku by Sam:
Normal sudoku rules apply. And that’s it!
GAS 134 – Summometers by Philip Newman:
Normal sudoku rules apply. Digits along arrows must sum to the circled total. Arrows are also thermometers: digits must increase from tip to circle.
GAS 135 – Even Count by Clover
Normal sudoku rules apply. A value in a circle tells you how many of the four cells surrounding that circle contain even digits. (The even digits around a circle don't have to be different from each other, as long as they follow sudoku rules.)

Mark, I remain amazed by your ability to fix on the fly without too much distress. I wish I could apply this skill liberally in my life experience. I come here train with your inspiration.

Fun puzzles to work through on a Monday morning. The art of coloring really made Even Count quite easy!
Shamrock 21:00, Exclusion 9:30, Classic 11:23. Skipped Summometers. Even Count 14:58.

Solved Shamrock in 63 minutes, looked at the length of the video, and thought "I must be getting better"... then realized there was more than one puzzle :-D Thanks so much for all the great videos. I watch you every night on the biggest TV in the house ;-)

Puzzle 1 - 5:47
Puzzle 2 - 11:07
Puzzle 3 - 4:30
Puzzle 4 - 6:43
Puzzle 5 - 9:12

Total -- 37:19

For whatever reason, I struggled with both of Clover's puzzles (particularly #2; I took far too long to spot an 'obvious' way in). Otherwise, I enjoyed myself.

Nice puzzle!

(Times for this set were 15:48, 9:02, 8:38, 10:34 and 21:38)
I really struggled visualing some of the even placements and even then completely forgot the 4 clue on the top left inner corner, haha. Glad I could get through to a solution still, even if it was a little longer than usual. Really shouldn't have avoided colouring for as long as I did, haha. Expert solves Mark, great to see you back in the swing of things again c:

First time I’ve solved them all without watching the video for tips. Good way to end the week. Thanks for the great content.

When I make a mistake, I panic and end up starting the puzzle over. I think the break-in to the Evens puzzle was to recognize the 4s that were highlighted, but see that 8 was the only even missing from box 4

My times:
Shamrock: 19:09 - I had restarted this over after making mistakes twice. I'm experienced enough with these line to know 4 & 6 don't go in the middle of lines because you can't put 1's or 9's next to it on both side, but then forgot that if it bends around the different row and columns, then the other two cells don't see each other so 4's and 6's are allowed. Oddly enough, someone trying these for the first time would be constantly double-checking the possibilities and not make that mistake.
Exclusion Sudoku: 5:20 - That's an interesting rule, I enjoyed this one, much nicer than the previous one.
Classic: 8:26
Summometers: 9:45 - I think you need to come up with a better display for overlapping arrows & thermometers. At the very least, the arrows should be drawn on top of the thermos.
Even Count: 7:01 - I suppose it's no surprise I got all the even digits first.
Total: 49:41

"Painfully human" - I totally sympathize with this epithet... but these speed-runs are always a delight so don't ever lose your joie de vivre about it. Well done!

9:13 on the Shamrock, 7:09 on the Exclusion (fun!), 11:32 on the Classic (also fun, felt like rather a challenge for a classic!), 8:32 on the Summometers (enjoyable, and I appreciated the 1 on one of them that helped me remember which direction and symbols were which), and I think somewhere around 10 minutes on the Even Count but I had paused the timer and forgot to restart. A really enjoyable round of GAS indeed! And finished in a bit less than 1.5x the video time. :)

Last puzzle you can color all of box 4 right away, since you have 246 given and another even digit from the 4 clue, which must be 8, so the rest are odd.

I liked even count a lot. Didn't think it was at all "too spicy". Despite the acceptable time, I actually found Exclusions to be the hardest to scan/parse. The ruleset doesn't lend itself to a sort of successive scanning that I tend to prefer, even if the individual deductions are pretty enough on their own.

These were a blessing for a flight I had to take kept me well occupied for almost an hour
My times
11:23 7:56 8:26 10:32 9:06
Got closer to marks time than usual on the last one, I essentially completely colored the grid before filling in the digits, I doubt I would have solved like that before watching the channel so thank you m+s!

Thank you all very much! Your Speedokus provided me with some sane moments during the nights of two somewhat insane weeks.🤗

Not too much to say going in today, just that it's Sunday and for once I'm free enough to kick back and play without worry.
As always, I will update with my times and comments as I complete them.

30:03 – Shamrock – It took me an embarrassingly long time to spot the trivial parity break-in, then I wasted more on insisting that every cell be parity-colored. But it was worth it in the end.

11:00 – Exclusion Sudoku – Other than scanning for the right digits, not hard at all. Very enjoyable.

08:14 – Classic Sudoku – Lots of neat pairs and a smooth, easy solve. A classic classic.

13:05 – Summometers – Easier than I expected going in. Once the first few thermarrows were resolved, the rest mostly just fell into place.

12:47 – Even Count – Another load of parity coloring, and probably the closest I've ever come to a Mark-level time (less than double his 7:35). A classy ending.

01:15:09 Total time. Other than the first one, a really good run for me. Definitely much better than the last couple of gas sets. If I hadn't flubbed the opener, I might even have come close to finally achieving my sub-hour goal.

Nice coloring exercise on the last puzzle. Everything fell into place once that was done.

FAQ:
Q1: What is a _Simarkism_ ?
A1: A _Simarkism_ is something that Simon and Mark typically or frequently say.
Q2: How do you do this so fast?
A2: I'm not made of flesh and blood, but of sand ...
Q3: Why don't you include 'XX' and 'YY'?
A3: Probably it's already on the list ('Scooby-Doo' for example), but not mentioned in this video. But if you think it's not, tell me what you'd like me to include and there's a good chance I'll add it!
Q4: You missed 'XX' at 'YY:ZZ'!
A4: That could very well be the case! Human speech is hard to understand for computers like me, especially British sometimes! Point out the ones that I missed and maybe I'll learn!
Q5: Could you turn these statistics into videos?
A5: I've been playing around with the idea and I'm open to input as to what people would like to see. Let me know if you are interested in this and/or have suggestions.

"It's unusual to do the odds before the evens" ... yes, that's what I thought watching your solve! I finished the even digits completely before even looking at the odds...
