Kraven Kills the Sony-Verse...but is Spider-Man leaving the MCU?

Sony's "Something to do with "Spider-Man I think Universe" is finally done. A new story from the Wrap had confirmation from a Sony inside that they have shelved their crossover plan to creat a Sinister Six franchise....but now what? Will they sell Spider-Man to Marvel? Will they pull him out of the MCU? We explain.

Yeah, like Colton's saying, I honestly can't fathom why Sony doesn't just license the IP to Disney. You get gobs of money and you don't have to spend any on actors, writers, directors, etc? How is that even a choice for them? Just mind-blowingly dumb on Sony's part

Sony has the easiest thing they can do, which is "we will not extend this contract with holland's spider-man unless you let us make films using garfield and macguire." With DC having 2 seperste batman universes theres no reason sony cant make more films with Garfield or Mcguire

The "For now" tag at the end of statement gives me an uneasy feeling about this. I wouldn't be surprised that after Avengers Secret Wars that Sony will announce that they'll resume their adjacent Spider-Man films for the foreseeable future. The only good part about this is that Kevin Feige has said recently that he plans of introducing Miles Morales in the MCU presumably after Secret Wars since he still wants to focus on Peter now. But Miles probably can't be a member of the Young Avengers/Champions if that team's story will be told as a Disney+ series. So, it looks like he'll be introduced in MCU Spider-Man 5 and just go on from there.

Amazing Spiderman 2 was a complete bomb so Sony making a solo Spiderman movie is not a certified hit

Colton looks so handsome with his new haircut. It appears to be Colton is coming into his own and stepping out of the background. He seems to have adopted a whole new boost in his presence and assurance with his perspectives, opinions, and critique. I love this whole new reinvention and attitude. He went on "How is our competition?" Some people offered up other companies, and said "Yes, and who else? Anywhere people spend money that's not here."
Ryan, my summer child, large corporations no longer care about what they make, only what it makes them. Witness Disney squeezing Star Wars or Netflix deleting legitimately wonderful (if niche) shows because they didn't gain Eyes fast enough. At one time what you said was true but not anymore once you move past a moderately sized indie company.

I agree that the ideal scenario is to expand the Spider-Man deal to ALL of the Spider-Man characters. But in my heart of hearts, I just want Disney to buy them out so badly.
