Remembering this fascinating building when visiting Chicago in 1986 age 13. And adding to the comments below, considering that in Amsterdam everyday people accidentally end up in the canal when reverse parking their car you might understand why valet parking is obligatory when reverse parking on the 19th floor midtown ;-)

As a policeman tenant turned owner I was always able to park my own car without charge for the years I lived there. In winter the wind blowing through was brutal. But that was a great perk!

I love this design of parking garage, there is a smaller version in Oakland, CA. A valet is completely unnecessary and I always park nose out so I can take a few minutes to enjoy the views. The ramp down is a very tight and steep interior coil, but it is nothing a competent person cannot navigate. Although a rectangular garage is the more efficient way to store a rectangular vehicle the aesthetics of this garage make it visually very appealing.

Marina City is not only the ugliest set of buildings in my city, but after seeing that manlift, it has to be one of the most dangerous. That looks...really unsafe.

Why didn't they put a lift for the cars like in the Kent car garage in NYC? I can't imaging driving in circles up to 19 floors all day.

I have 9.5 feet wide and 19 feet long parking space in my home, the width of the entrance gate is 10 feet and there is 12 feet road in front of my house, I want to ask, is it possible to park Aulto K10 in my house?
