You can feel true love and passion for cars from this guy. He reminds me little bit of me, my life is turning around cars only, Ive builds cars since i dont even know. Lot of money put into bad projects, lot of into good projects, no regret at all. I will build cars until I will die. Doesnt care how my car looks to other people, how they like the way it looks, just care about how I see it. It doesnt even matter, which car do u drive, which engine. Its all about passion to these things on 4 wheels :). Sorry for my english. Cars for life <3

That sure beats the 1982 Diesel Caddy that I had. I was lucky to do 75 on level grade! Great mod!

A rwd R32 caddy mk1 is probably my dream project. Too bad they don't really make trucks like these anymore. It's the Skoda Felicia pickup and the Dacia logan pickup at least in Sweden.

Man this is awesome! A Vr6 is not the most common swap in Europe where I live (due to the caddy only being available as 4 cylinder versions, there are laws preventing it from being legal which is checked on a yearly basis). So seeing this, I really love it!

You are probably aware of this yourself, but I thought to share a little info anyway. The 1.8 20vt are AMAZING engines with endless possibilities for mods, I have one myself too (not in a caddy).
When you talked about the clearance in the engine bay, when you swap for the 1.8t (which is smaller already I assume) there are different build versions depending on what car it came from.

The intake / outlet setups can differ in placement which could help with placement of cooling and turbo. Of course there are many ways to switch it around, but why not start with everything already close to where it needs to be and save yourself the headache.

Cheers mate!

400-500 will be no sweat on a good bottom end with the 1.8t, using the stock AEB head. Boost chugging monsters for sure.
