“She's Making Up Rules” | Rachel Reeves U-Turns On Tax Promise

The Chancellor is expected to raise employer National Insurance rates in Wednesday’s Budget to increase funding for public services like the NHS. Rachel Reeves plans to also lower the earnings threshold at which employers start paying the tax, with these changes projected to bring in around £20bn.
Currently, employers pay 13.8% on earnings over £175 a week. This increase is expected to be the Budget’s largest revenue source, although it will likely exclude pensions.

A government source stated, “The NHS needs more money, and this requires businesses to help.”

Dr David Bull and Dr Renee Hoenderkamp discuss the weekend morning stories.

It is now abundantly clear that the British government is no longer affordable, not in the best interests of British people nor good value for money. Should we reduce the size of government by at least 99.999%?

I’m 66 and am too scared to retire. The health isn’t that great. I’ve come to acceptance I probably won’t ever be able to fully retire.

So guys if you invest money. Technically it’s the governments money, even though that money you invested has already been taxed. Absolutely joke.

It has been revealed that Thieves was not an economist in the Bank of England she was an admin asst, if that is run like the civil service, she was one of those that did the filing, it's the very lowliest of positions. Every person who pays into a pension, which due to Gov rules are nearly everyone, is a shareholder. This is just sheer spite and avarice.

If this country needs money so badly time for Westminster and the Lords to lose their privileged lifestyle at our expense. Stop the subsidised restaurants and bars, heating allowances, bloated salaries with what seems like unlimited expenses with no receipts required. Cancel them all.

I am worried about government still getting all their perks, high wages, expense account, give themselves a rise with no opposition.whilst us OAP’S and working class population get robbed blind or death by the cold, with no way of objecting without fear of imprisonment
