I have 40 yrs as an amatuer in photography so not new to this field but was confused by what camera or camcorder is best for my needs. good job in explaining important guides to buying. I was in the Motion Picture Industry when film was boss, when film died I was doing weddings, school plays, and concert shows using only Panasonic Video Camera's - just liked them better - rest is editing in computer. Computers need lots of ram, fast video card and processor. I like your simple explanation of giving advice, straight to the point. Again good job.

Sean, thanks for this video you put together. Based on your videos in the past, I have purchased the M50 in white like yours...Lol and still learning it as we speak. Your videos are so intuitive with so much information, and prompted me to wanting to start a YouTube channel myself. Unfortunately I was diagnosed with leukemia and myself esteem and way of life has kinda took a turn. But listening to your comment on how being able to take images or video to preserve memories struck an interest for me as I have a beautiful 5 year old princess no telling if I may have the chance to see her all grown up.

Great video. I think before any beginner gets into buying a camera, he or she should look at other filmmakers, photographers, and YouTube uploaders and see what "look" is best for you. There are YouTube uploaders that I watch content regularly and there is one person in particular in which I really like the look of his videos. They usually post their equipment in the description or you can simply ask them. I think that was the most important aspect for me. How do I want my videos to look.
