Buoyancy Demo - The Central Desert Hunter

A demo of the buoyancy effect of a high end throwstick. In this case we are throwing the Central Desert Hunter, which is our most buoyant model with the largest flight envelope. Our second most buoyant model is the Karli, and the other models to varying degrees beneath those two.

Buoyancy allows one to throw the stick at various starting velocities and still get the same result of a basically level flight. The straightness of the flight is determined by the angle of release. On the second throw here you can see we released with slight anhyzer, and so it travels a bit to the left. On the first throw we threw level and so it traveled straight.

That sound it makes on release is so cool. Imagine being on the receiving end of that and hearing it chase you. Haha terrifying
