Jeff, one of the pilots at Maverick Helicopters located at Grand Canyon South Rim, can fly both helicopters and airplanes! In this video, he briefly shares a few of the main differences between flying a helicopter versus flying an airplane. He explains that a helicopter is the ultimate form of flight and is much more complex to fly in comparison to flying an airplane. While airplanes are ideal for long distance, helicopters are much more versatile and can land in most areas!

Once you figure out how to hover, I'd say helicopters are easier to fly. There's something about the ability to stop in mid air that just makes life easier. 😎
