Never use infrared thermometer when measuring oil level on Toyota or Lexus with sealed transmission without dipstick.
Instead, there is a factory built-in "Fluid Temperature Detection Mode" that is a lot more accurate and easier to use and it doesn't require any expensive diagnostic tools or subscriptions.

It’s odd how my Land Rover Freelander 2 with an Aisin TF-81SC the level is set at 60degC (140degF). Essentially the volume of ATF drained would be more, however, not sure of the expansion of the ATF WS.

It looked accurate to me...
The highest temperature is 126.5 at 1 minute 52 seconds in the video.
Two thermometers are always better than one.
