A tip for a future video:

Steve, a lot of people use G Suite Legacy (free) for private use with using family members' emails on their own domain.

Google is now discontinuing this service, it will continue to be paid.

I quite miss some really in-depth article on the options that exist in this case. All the pros and cons - whether to switch to paid Google Workspace (and which plan). I'm not looking for a free solution at all costs, but Google One for Families doesn't allow for a custom domain; I have no idea how to transfer accounts from GSuite Legacy to another type while still keeping, for example, purchased apps on Google Play.

I read some articles once that Google should perhaps allow conversion of Google Workspace accounts to Google Family accounts (including their own domain and with sharing of apps, movies and books), but nothing official.

It seems to me that for how soon the change is supposed to happen, there is a lot of confusion and the average user is getting lost in it. It would take someone wise, educated, grey-bearded, and with a lot of technical insight to set us straight on this once and for all. Steve, do you know anyone like that? :)

I recently noticed my photos were not uploading automatically. I review my settings on my new iPhone. I was using 6 gb prior (been using google photos since it launched). After a few hours my google usage/storage went up to 16 GB .I scrolled through photos and saw that every photo (30, 000) was duplicated. I started to delete the double files. Realizing that any photo in storage before June 1 should not have been counted towards that 15 gb free. halted my deleting. I tried to find a contact with Google and could not. Any suggestions before I give up on Google photos.

Problem, It didn't clear up any GB. It only is clearing up MB and mostly KB, but I still have 4.5GB in Gmail and I still don't know what is making that amount!
