This is very helpful..I've been getting the 'out of space' notification for the last month and was trying not to give in & purchase space. I'm going to try these steps. Thanks so much for the knowledge! What I did before seeing your video was (and this was time consuming) delete everything from my promotion folder and social folder (since for me there's nothing there I need to keep) and it did free up space as I had so many social and promotional emails. The promotional emails can take up a lot of space. Anyway, I stopped getting the notification for a while but as I took more pictures or video, of course I eventually ran out of space again so trying your tips will really help. Thanks so much.

you know I was confused at first of what you're trying to show to us in the beginning of the video, but you are showing US how to create a file just in case if we accidentally delete the important files that we are looking for, so we can still have more space for the current Gmail, So thanks for that

Scott, I have been dealing with this issue for the last three weeks and can't get it corrected. The space hog in my Google Drive are photos shared with me. While I mark them for removal, they do not show up on the trash folder nor do they go away. Perhaps the photos are being reloaded from the friend who gave them to me? What can I do to get rid of them? HELP!
