He is really squeezing the last dime out of that Model Y on Youtube before he sells it lol.

I just got an updated delivery date on mine. It went from March - June 2023 to December 2022 - January 2023. I’m so stoked!!

I’ve had my Model Y since August 2021. Only issue so far was a flat tire that required full replacement. Other than that, no problem’s whatsoever and I love the car. Your experience was quite different to say the least, dude, sorry!

Received my Model Y Saturday. No big issues at all in terms of functionality. The steering wheel just had a blemish/rubber scratch mark, seats had buckle marking and one panel gape near the light. Cars works well but still need to test the charging ports and heated seats

I also sold my 2020-built Model Y and bought a 2022 to replace it. I was hoping that the fit and finish would be better, but honestly, I had way more issues with the new car compared to my older one. I agree that Tesla pushes the quality control onto the customer, and it's really frustrating with how much more expensive the Model Y has become. I'm already 4 service center visits in and another is already scheduled. I think I got pretty unlucky with the quantity of issues, but the quality control checks clearly missed some serious flaws. My service center noted that my car was the worst they had seen in a while, but some issues like a high pitched whine they want to charge me to fix (even though I reported it on the first day of delivery). Hoping that my issues get resolved eventually, thanks for all the great Tesla content!

Thanks for sharing all of your Tesla stories. It really helped me with purchasing my 2021 model Y. Also, as a Youtuber myself that was a SMART buy with getting the Tesla when you did right around when EVs started becoming big news. Basically you profited from the car which is awesome. Great job and keep up the great work with the videos. Big fan over here. 👏👏👏

This is why I would never buy 1st and 2nd gen of _any_ product. I waited and now I'm super happy with my 2022 M3.

Sale at the top of the market. Because vehicle prices and demand are about to crumble.
Very smart

My 2022 MYLR has been flawless. Fit and finish was excellent. I’m completely satisfied with my purchase. It’s an amazing car. I love driving more than any other car I owned.

I ordered my “Y” in December and just got it last week, and I found a lot of problems with mine from paint bubbles, misaligned panels, trunk lid paint chips, dents, and some interior cosmetic issues. I recommended everyone download the checklist because there were other buyers there with no checklist. When they saw me using a checklist, they then started checking their cars and the three cars around mine had similar problems I had, and 1 of the three refused to take delivery. We did accept delivery and have a service appt. to get all the repairs fixed. Also, the delivery date estimate is a joke! Mine first went, from April-May to June-July to August-September to November-February of 2023, then back to July-August! BTW your channel is excellent and has helped me immensely!

Nice. Can't wait to see your new Model Y! I love my Y. I ordered it early as well and had panel gap issues. I didn't get FSD and am glad I didn't. But not having to worry about the gas pump, and always having an amazing drive, plus autopilot... (game changer for road trips) has been more than worth it. I don't and never did have noise issues. Paid a total of $53, 600 when it was all said and done. Have had it 2 years and I still love it.

The best thing I love about Tesla is their 100, 000-mile battery warranty. I tend to ditch mines around 115 k miles or when I start to notice a slight battery deficiency. I just trade it for a newer model.

I sold my 2020 MY two weeks ago and got a 2022 MYP. I’m impressed by the build quality and less noise in the cabin. I think you’ll enjoy your new MY🙂!

I remember when you got your first Tesla Model Y and I was so excited for you! I’ve been watching your videos over the years, and thank you for supporting EVs. I am sorry those bad things happened but I hope from now on that you will have good luck with your new Tesla and much better times! Congratulations on your new vehicle, and I also hope everything goes well!

I sold my 2021 Model 3 SR+, with 18, 000 miles, one accident reported, but otherwise clean, for $47, 000. I bought my M3 off the lot at Telsa in St Louis, for $38, 000. I owned the car for about 16 months. When it was all said and done, I walked away with close to a $18000 check. I got back my $8000 down payment from my Suby, plus all my payments and then some. plus another $2700 check from at fault driver's insurance for a little bump that never got fixed. It is unbelievable that you can sell a year old car for a profit. There used to be a rule that when you drove the car off the lot, it lost 30% right away. aka you are stuck with it.

Now I have the car I wanted, but was a bit out of my price range. 2022 M3 LR, in the dark blue on white. I love the extra range, when I take road trips.

2 questions:

1. will you ever go back to gas cars?

2. will you own/keep your teslas after the 4 year warranty is up?

hoping to here your thoughts on those, great video by the way!

Honestly I’m amazed that despite all the work renting it out, and the fact you could sell unreasonably high in this market you still came out negative. Hope YouTube paid off you earned it

Just picked up my Austin made long range Y on Tuesday. Still some minor issues but they're getting there. Sold my 2017 Prius Prime (25 miles on electric) at in insane price. A good time not to own an ICE vehicle!

You have extreme patience. I would never be able to own a Tesla with all the quality issues.

Rented my Model 3 on Turo once and car was damaged. It wasn’t accident with another car, but my vehicle was damaged. It was all covered by Turo, but it was a hassle to get all the money and repair the car. Wasted time for not a lot of profit. I don’t plan to rent my car out again.
